Electric powered two-seated submarine invented by Ernest Poncin in 1887.

At the age of 21, the life of Ernest François PONCIN was overthrown when he read the latest novel written by his favourite author "20.000 leagues under the seas". He was immediately very impressed by the rich descriptions of this submarine world, yet unknown, and he developed a passion for this new and young science, oceanography.
